Server Administration

Although an EPC Station makes it’s service appear simple to the public and autonomous in its operation, there is a high degree of integrated and coordinated technology taking place ‘behind the scenes’.
The following is a schematic of the overall functioning of the ‘system’:

These of course, are the postcards that were chosen to be sent electronically via e-mail, however what happens to those that were chosen to be hard-copied and mailed?

The technology doesn’t quite end there though, as the recipient and the user (when he/ she returns home) may choose additional services from the EPC web-site ‘store’ called, ‘The Hard-Copy Café’ This on-line store allows individuals to order additional hard-copies of their postcards, as well as personalized items such as mugs, t-shirts and other gifts from a specific location visited.
